What started as a hobby, the medium of photography has given me a greater understanding of the relationship between the camera, the subject, and the camera person.

 

With each photograph, I aim to capture the intimate connections we share between ourselves and the settings we find ourselves in. However fantastical or mundane we come across in our surroundings, therein lies an energy that I believe can resonate with us deeply. To this day, I am fascinated by this miracle, this marriage of light and intuition. Whether digital or analog, each frame has the limitless potential to tell a story.

 

Thankfully, I have had the opportunity to shoot on film and dabble in developing, scanning, and printing. In recent callings, I find myself coming back to film for its wonder in quality and discipline.
